This guide will help you install and care for your Tilevera tile decals so they look beautiful and last for years.

✅ Before You Start (Important)

For best results, make sure your surface is suitable.

✔ Suitable surfaces

• Smooth ceramic tiles

• Sealed porcelain tiles

• Glass, mirrors, metal

• Painted & sealed surfaces

✖ Not suitable for

• Rough or textured tiles

• Unsealed cement or stone

• Recently painted surfaces (wait 14 days before applying)

🛠 How to Install Your Tile Decals

Step 1: Clean Thoroughly

• Wash tiles with warm water and mild soap

• Remove grease, dust, and residue

• Dry completely before applying

🚫 Avoid polish, bleach, or oily cleaners

Step 2: Plan Your Layout

• Lay decals out before sticking

• Decide on spacing and pattern

• Start from the centre or bottom row for best alignment

Step 3: Apply Slowly

• Peel back a small section of the backing paper

• Stick the decal onto the tile

• Smooth from the centre outward using:

  • A squeegee

  • A bank card wrapped in a soft cloth

Take your time to avoid air bubbles.

Step 4: Smooth & Secure

• Press firmly around edges and corners

• If bubbles appear, gently lift and reapply

• For stubborn bubbles, use a soft cloth or gentle heat from a hairdryer

🧽 Caring for Your Tile Decals

✔ Cleaning

• Wipe with a soft cloth or sponge

• Use mild soap and water only

✖ Avoid

• Abrasive sponges or scourers

• Harsh chemicals or bleach

• Steam cleaners directly on decals

⏳ Longevity Tips

• Allow 24 hours after installation before cleaning

• Avoid constant direct water spray on edges

• For floors or outdoor areas, apply a clear urethane sealer to protect against wear and moisture
